Blue Sky Dental Care is proud to offer our Budget Dental Plan to provide affordable high-tech dental care to our patients without dental insurance. This comprehensive, in-house plan is directly structured between the patient and Blue Sky Dental Care.

One annual membership fee covers routine preventative care and offers excellent discounts on ALL services.

Our front office staff works with insured patients to help maximize your benefit and provide cost estimates broken down by insured and uninsured costs.

While we accept many major dental insurance plans and Maryland Healthy Smiles for children under the age of 21, we don’t accept Medicare/Medicaid and HMO plans. If we don’t accept your insurance, consider our Budget Dental Plan that provides the same high-quality care at an affordable cost.

Please note that estimates of service costs are based on information provided by your insurance and are not a guarantee of payment. Only after a claim is submitted and processed by your insurance company can final payment be determined. As a courtesy, we file claim forms electronically, provide postage for special claims, and track claims for you.

Insured patients are responsible for co-pays and deductibles. Unpaid insurance claims after 60 days will convert to self-pay and insured patients are then notified of the unpaid portion. Feel free to contact your insurance company regarding unpaid benefits. We’ll gladly provide a letter that includes all pertinent information which you may sign and mail to your insurance company.

For patients who opt for self-pay, we offer an in-house, two payment option accepting half down at the decision time for services, with the other half of the balance paid to the final treatment completion date. A financial arrangement must be agreed upon and endorsed by the responsible party prior to being placed on the treatment schedule.
